People say that being a mum is breathtaking--and not just because it can actually stop your breathing for seconds as you marvel at your child, but more because it is so difficult to put the feeling of motherhood into spoken words.
Leandra Mchoen describes hiking up a mountain: Just a bunch of steps. Becoming a Mum is to be standing in the valley, looking at the mountain top, and wondering how the hell do I get up there. But it is easy--because all you have to do is following your instincts and your body, which guide you step by step. Just start walking.
While hiking you get tired, being scared of not fulfilling the expectations and then in same moment just go on walking, looking up and enjoying the view.
And here we go, standing on the peak of daily life next to our children, looking down on the path that we climbed up together, and we realize not just the greatness of our journey but also that we are now blessed and beloved.
